CATI awarded AMBL Image Generator and TTS upgrade

Daleville, Alabama – May 05, 2010

CATI Training Systems has been awarded contract to provide the Air Maneuver Battle Lab (AMBL), Ft. Rucker additional eight Visual System Image Generators licenses, including two Tactical Terrain Servers. CATI has been supporting AMBL since late 2000, providing both man-in-the-loop out-the-window (OTW) visualization, and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) EO/IR/LLTR payload views in both experimentation and concepts development.

 As a part of the Capability Development and Integration Directorate, AMBL supports the execution of concepts development, experimentation and requirements development and developing resource-informed, integration-focused, outcome-based (RIO) Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, and Facilities (DOTMLPF) solutions to address aviation gaps requiring mitigation or closure. Additional mission include providing Army-level direction towards systematically improving unmanned aircraft systems on the modern battlefield and the battlefields of the future. Its primary purpose is to provide both vertical and horizontal integration to achieve a coherent and sustainable Army UAS strategy.
