CATI Awarded Mission Function Tactical Terrain Server for Flight School XXI OH–58D

Daleville, Alabama – May 7, 2010

CATI Training Systems announced today that L–3 Link Simulation and Training has awarded its Daleville Operation a contract to provide software for a Mission Function Tactical Terrain Server (TTS) for the Flight School XXI OH–58D Operational Flight Trainer #3. The TTS will provide special mission functions necessary for precise correlation with the out-the-window visual and sensor systems and include height of terrain, height above terrain, inter–visibility line of sight and line of sight laser ranging. These functions query the same database that is used to render the out the window view and as such, are absolutely precise.
